| Kept in the fair ledger | Its job at the fair | How long the fair keeps it |
|---|---|---|
| Nickname at the fair | Showing your name at the reels | For as long as your account exists |
| Email address for the fair | Matching you to your account each time you log in | For as long as your account exists |
| Password hash | Checking your password at the gate while never keeping the password itself | For as long as your account exists |
| Sign-up date | Replying to your notes and sorting out misuse at the fair | For as long as your account exists |
Nothing beyond that is collected. Real names, home addresses, birthdays, phone numbers and payment details are never requested, for the simple reason that the fair has nothing for sale. Passwords are held solely as a one-way hash. Lawful basis: performance of a contract (providing the account you signed up for). Once you delete your account it is all removed immediately, and the delete button lives on your account page.
| Kept in the fair ledger | Why the fair needs it | How long the fair keeps it |
|---|---|---|
| Basket of coins, level, missions and reel settings | So the game carries on from where you were | Until you clear out your browser data |
| Age confirmation | Keeping the cookie question from popping up on each page | Until you clear out your browser data |
| Cookie choice | Remembering how you answered about cookies | Until you clear out your browser data |
It all stays on your device, and none of it travels to the fair.
Choose ‘Accept all’ and we load Google Analytics and Google Ads tags, which measure visits and whether our adverts lead people into the games, for example by recording that somebody made a first spin. Your IP address, device information and those events then go to Google. Choose ‘Essential only’ and those tags run in consent mode, without cookies and without advertising identifiers. Lawful basis: consent.
The company hosting the site keeps routine request logs for a brief time to keep it secure. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.
You are free to access, correct, erase or restrict your data, to object to its processing and to withdraw consent whenever you wish. Pressing delete on your account page wipes the account data at once, and clearing this site’s data in your browser deals with whatever is left. If you want to complain, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada is at priv.gc.ca.
You need to be an adult of 19 or over to play at Peach Orchard Fair, where every reel is spun with virtual coins that have no monetary value; nobody can buy them, sell them, withdraw them or swap them for anything. The fairground has no coin booth and no checkout of any sort, there are no prizes of real-world value, and a lucky afternoon in the peach rows does not imply future success at real-money gambling.
